UPLIFT FOR TODAY

Serving God has great benefits. God's benefits are an encouragement to stay away from the consequences of not serving Him. In 1John 5:8 there is a clear message of assurance we can be victorious in every aspect of our lives. It is for us--it is attainable-- it is believable!

Jesus said it best when He explained to Nicodemus "be born again." We must leave our old lives behind and walk into the new life God has for each of us. When we can make the commitment to love our God and be loved by Him, we will have a love that is the strength of every breath we breathe!

Through God's love we will be victorious over every obstacle that may come our way. We don't have to look for battles, but the reality is battles do come our way. Victory is a gift from our Heavenly Father. We are overcomers, more than conquerors. Victory doesn't have to be difficult, you just need to be willing to let God work through you and fulfill His plan for you.

Walking in God's destiny for our lives is the greatest victory there is. As we enter a new year, we look for greater things to be done than ever before. Psalms 98:1says, "O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained victory for Him."

God is a God of wonder . We won't ever fully understand the greatness and power of HIs plan, but we can know His hand of victory is extended over us and we trust Him to work for good to those who love Him.

Let us love Him with all our strength and see Him bring us victory over all things!
