There will never be an understanding of why tragedy strikes and where. No words are sufficient to describe the horror that is taking place in Haiti following the 7.0 earthquake. What is important at this time is how we respond to a cry for help. Each One Reach One is diligently pursuing a cargo plane to fly relief supplies into Haiti or the Dominican Republic to be received by Love a Child in Fond Parisian. We have had a long standing partnership in helping to supply humanitarian support with LAC and the country of Haiti. No containers can be shipped at this time due to the destruction of the docks. We have begun the process of collecting the most needed items to be ready to ship as soon as approval is received.
No one at this point, other than the military, has been able to land. We believe this door of opportunity will be miraculously opened in the next few days and EORO along with you and your support will be ready to respond. The most pressing items we need to collect right now are:
TENTS, ASPIRIN, TYLENOL, ALCOHOL,PEROXIDE, MEDICAL GLOVES, SOAP, ANTIBIOTIC CREAM, DIAPERS, GAUZE AND LARGE GARBAGE BAGS
