Please take the time to read our thoughts about Covid-19/Corona Virus.

With this in mind, and the ever-changing status of our situation, I write to you to update you on the issue of church activities and services. Because of the extension of the “Stay at Home” orders and the continued restrictions on sizes of gatherings that are being suggested by the CDC and our local governments, all activities at SGT will be cancelled until further notice. I & the leadership of SGT want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts that have called or texted to show your amazing support during this historical time. Finally, may we, on this occasion, challenge you to make the most of this opportunity. We must be the voice of reason in a society that is full of fear and panic. Set the example. Be an example. Be someone’s strength in this time of uncertainty. Do not waste this Coronavirus. Many of us have always said, “I would read my Bible if I had more time.” “If I had more time, I would spend time with the family.” No greater opportunity has ever presented itself or may be given again in our lifetime to fulfill the words of Paul and “redeem the time, be wise, and understand the will of God” (Eph 5:16-17).
